Imagine being at the helm of a dynamic retail outlet in Luxembourg, where you combine sales strategy with the smell of freshly baked bread. As store manager, you direct the entire operation: you select products, maintain supplier relationships, manage stock and ensure that the store is always tailored to customer needs. Your commercial acumen and organizational ability directly determine the success of the store.

Leadership is at the heart of your role. You recruit, train and motivate your team, create efficient staff schedules and monitor a professional, customer-oriented atmosphere. In addition, you manage financial processes, from daily checkout appointments to accurate administration and reporting. What you do

  • Organize branch sales operation including strategic planning
  • Select products to sell and identify reliable vendors
  • Collect cash and verify cash register accuracy at the end of the day
  • Recruit, train, motivate and supervise store personnel
  • Manage staff schedules and track hours worked
  • Procure merchandise and maintain vendor relationships
  • Maintain daily inventory management and perform periodic inventory counts
  • Receive deliveries and verify quality and quantity of incoming merchandise
  • Systematically place merchandise on shelves or store in warehouse
  • Maintain required displays including price information
  • Monitor and verify daily sales and operational data
  • Prepare bread and pastries as part of store offerings
  • Apply food hygiene principles including temperature recording and FIFO practices
